Paris Research Trip, 2015 (part 7): The Park at Versailles

This one is likely to be a disappointment. The scale of the Park at Versailles is so massive it is nearly impossible to capture it using the camera on your phone. I do have a short video that I took while riding the bike that gives you a sense of how big things are.

This is a terrace at the far end of the Grand canal.

There were dozens of small aircraft circling the garden. Aerial tours might be a good way to see things.

As you can see, it just kind of looks like trees. Most of these photos are from the area around the Grand Canal, which is almost a mile long, end to end, in either direction.
