Here are a few more photos from my trip. This part isn’t strictly research related, but I had never been to the Orangerie before. And it was a pleasure of seeing these wall-sized paintings by Monet, in the space they were originally intended to be displayed.

I wanted to post every photo I took there, but I’ll limit myself to these twelve. I took lots of detail images, because these paintings were spectacular at every level. I especially liked the sunset image, though I don’t seem to have made a panorama of it, as I did for a few of the others.
